MLB Player Prop Bets for Tuesday, August 2, 2022

We haven't had too many of these plays lately, so I feel I should bring up a few things about them. They are, to me, pizza money plays. For the average bettor, I'd probably put like a quarter unit or so on the play. I've been below .500 record-wise, but every single one is plus money and since I've started we are about even. These are mostly for fun, but it is a work in progress for me. I want to get better at MLB player props and this is your chance to see me succeed... and fail. If you want a real success though, jump on the MLB Package. You'll get 30 days of plays from BTB and BTBJesse. It is well worth the money.

Bryse Wilson over 3.5 strikeouts +130 (DK)

The Pirates have a really tough task today with Corbin Burnes facing them today. But, we don't need to worry about that because we are going to focus on the starting pitcher for the Pirates. Wilson is facing the Brewers for the third time this season. He's gone 10 innings and struck out four batters in each of his first two starts. He isn't a big strikeout pitcher, he only has 40 on the year in 55.2 innings. He's only gone over this total in five of his 13 appearances on the season. He has pitched better in three of the past four stars as well, so he has a chance to stay in the game long enough to strike out four batters from a team that strikes out almost nine times per game.

Good Luck!
