Strikeouts are a tricky thing. Yesterday, somehow, Lance Lynn gave up 6 runs and was allowed to keep pitching. He went over his total, something that shouldn't have happened. We also only got four strikeouts from Miles Mikolas so our over from him fell a hook short. We ended up going 1-2 and now only have one play that I like today.
Adrian Sampson over 3.5 strikeouts +110 (DK)
The Mets are not a big strikeout team, and Sampson isn't a huge strikeout pitcher, but he likely will go five or six innings today. In his six appearances this season, he has gone over this total four times. One of those appearances was a one-inning relief stint. In the other five outings, he's gone at least four innings. There is enough opportunity and reason to believe he can get there today.
