2022 AFC East Win Totals Best Bets

The season is just a couple of days away. I even saw a calendar the other day that showed the month of September has more days with football in it than days where no game is played. I'm excited, I've locked in a bunch of bets, I've gotten the four MAX plays for the NFL Season from BTB and BTBJesse. There is still time to get those plays from them. These aren't their plays, some align, some don't, but these are just my overall thoughts on the team total.

Bills 11 - 6 last year, 1st in division

Is everyone ready for the Buffalo Bills Pissed Off World Tour? I know I am. Josh Allen and Co. came within a few dumb plays and rules that prevented them from making the AFC Championship in what was the game of the playoffs. Defensively they have upgraded with the addition of Von Miller, and offensively they should be able to keep the pace they set last season. I expect this to be the year of the Bills. I don't need to say more about this. BTB already gave this big play out on multiple live sessions. Take the over 11.5.

Patriots 10 - 7, 2nd

Can't really ever count out the Patriots, can you? Last year, in a year with a new quarterback, new tight ends, and no real receiver to speak of, the Patriots still managed to win 10 games. Pretty impressive if you ask me. The line is basically asking if you think the Patriots are going to be above .500 or below. Do you want to count on the Patriots and Bill Belichick to lose games? Me either. I'll take the over 8.5.

Dolphins 9 - 8, 3rd

For the first time in a while, the Dolphins seem to have hope that their team could really push for the division or at least be in the playoff picture most of the year. A new head coach, a new star wide receiver, and some confidence that Tua might be able to take a step forward have fans thinking the Dolphins will be relevant for the first time since Ace Ventura was released. I don't have much faith in them to win. If I had to play it one way, it would be the under. Luckily, though, I don't need to play it. And, honestly, nine might be a fair total. They have to compete with the Bills and will have to fight through some tough competition to get to the 9 wins. 10 might be out of reach.

Jets 4 - 13, 4th

The only storyline about the Jets this offseason was football related, right? Nothing about moms, homie hopping, or friends, or whatever, right? Oh, wait, that's basically the only thing I heard about all off-season. Frankly, I don't care who Zach Wilson sleeps with and no one else should either, but here we are. The Jets will be the bottom team in the division unless something goes terribly wrong for the other teams and everything goes perfectly for the Jets. Could they win six games? I guess. They played fine last season, it wasn't a situation where they were in jeopardy of losing every game or something. They probably won't be that much better this year though. Six wins seems too high for them to get to for me. I'll probably lay off of it, but I'd only play it as an under.

Good Luck!
